Sharpe Public Relations, Inc., was founded by Cindy Sharpe, APR, in 2001. My areas of expertise include: Media relations planning and implementation; media training for corporate executives; strategic public relations counsel including the development of public relations plans; government relations including lobbying and grassroots campaigns; employee/internal communications; crisis communications planning and on-the-ground crisis management; issues management; research; public outreach/engagement programs for government projects; video production; special event planning; product promotion; customer relations; and more.
I’ve been working in the profession of public relations for over 30 years. I’ve worked in an agency environment (Hill & Knowlton), for a non-profit organization (Shriners Hospitals for Children Headquarters) and in a corporate setting (Managing Director, Public & Government Relations for AAA Auto Club South). I began my career at The Tampa Tribune and produced Bay News 9's "Extra on Vacation" segments, also serving as on-air talent.
